Exterior painting that holds up to North Texas sun

Exterior painting in North Texas has to stand up to hard sun, and paint is the part you see failing first even when the real problem is underneath it. Before anything is sprayed we deal with what the coating has to stick to: rotted trim, failed caulk, loose boards, and bare wood. Paint applied over those is a two-year finish sold as a ten-year one.

Tell us about your project.

A few details up front means a more accurate estimate and less back-and-forth. We reply during business hours, usually the same day.

What it covers

What our exterior painting covers.

Carpentry repairs first
Rotted fascia, trim, and siding replaced before exterior painting starts, because a coating cannot fix what is failing underneath it.
Washing and surface prep
Cleaning, scraping, sanding, and priming bare surfaces so the new finish has something sound to bond to.
Caulking and sealing
Joints, penetrations, and trim resealed, which does as much for keeping water out as the exterior painting does.
Siding, trim, and masonry
Body and trim coatings suited to the substrate, including painted brick and stucco where that is the plan.
Doors, shutters, and detail
The smaller elements finished properly rather than sprayed along with everything else.
Protection and cleanup
Landscaping, windows, roofing, and hardscape covered, and the site left clean at the end of each day.

Scope and cost

What moves the number.

We do not quote a price before seeing the home. These are the things that change it, and we will tell you which ones apply to yours at the walkthrough.

  • How much carpentry repair is needed before exterior painting can start

  • Substrate, since wood, fiber cement, brick, and stucco each ask for different products

  • Height and access, including whether ladders will reach or staging is required

  • Weather windows, because heat and humidity limits are real and we will not paint outside them

  • Whether an HOA has to approve the color before work begins

Common questions

Questions we are asked.

Spring and fall are easiest, but the constraint is the actual conditions rather than the month. We will not apply coatings outside the manufacturer temperature and humidity range, and we will tell you if the forecast means waiting.

Let’s talk about your project.

Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly what it takes, what it costs, and whether we are the right company for it.
